Hardwoods Inc. is proud to be a part of the Frederick MD community for the past 12 years. From our humble beginnings in a 2500 square foot ware house on Industry Lane with about 40 species of domestic and exotic woods, we have expanded and grown into our 10,000 square foot building with over 150 species of exotic and domestic lumber. We built our current facility located on north Market Street in Frederick city and made it the new home of Hardwoods Inc. for the past seven years.
Since opening this location in the fall of 2004, we have expanded our product line to include chemical free cabinet grade plywood made in the USA by Columbia Forest Products.
Exotic and domestic slab lumber with live edges, some up to 6’ wide and 26’ long.
Domestic and exotic wood veneers, burls, and edge banding.
We added an expanded millwork facility with a molder, shapers, re saw machine, wide belt sander, straight-line rip saw, strato plane and a central dust collection system.
We expanded our website to include videos; an ecommerce store and initiated the Hardwoods Inc. Official Blog. Our sister company, Frederick Art Glass, makers of etched glass, mirrors and wood frames, is also located within in our facility on Worman’s Mill Ct.
Hardwoods Inc employs five full time local Frederick County residents. It is our intention to continue to serve Frederick MD and the mid Atlantic region with high quality wood products for many years to come. Doc Geiser’s Carryout & Catering Adding 2 Frederick Classics To Their Menu
Doc Geiser’s is adding 2 Old Frederick Classics to their menu. The Doc Star hot dog and the Doc White burger. The Doc Star hot dog is the texas style chili dog that has been a tradition in Frederick for many years. The Doc White burger is the mini steamed hamburger that was a standard for years in Downtown Frederick. “Along with Watson’s famous fried chicken and overstuffed subs, we’ve added the other classic’s that have been Frederick Favorites.” says Jay “Doc” Geiser.
On April 1, We will be celebrating the 5th anniversary of Jay Geiser owning Doc Geiser’s carryout, formerly Bill Watson’s carryout and catering. We will have specials that day introducing our new classics . Blaine Young will be airing his show live from 3-6pm and we will be donating a percentage or our proceeds to Christmas Cash for Kids.
